PEEK material specification:
PEEK, or polyetheretherketone, a high performance engineering thermoplastic. PEEK grades offer chemical and water resistance similar to PPS (PolyPhenylene Sulfide), but can operate at higher temperatures. PEEK can be used continuously to 480°F (250°C) and in hot water or steam without permanent loss in physical properties. PEEK is a popular thermoplastic used for a wide range of industrial parts and components. It exhibits excellent strength, wear resistance, and abrasion resistance, and retains its properties at high temperatures.
PEEK machining is a difficult, requiring special handling to minimize internal stress and heat-related cracks during machining.
PEEL Material Features:
- Excellent chemical resistance
- Very low moisture absorption
- Inherently good wear and abrasion resistance
- Unaffected by continuous exposure to hot water or steam
PEEK Machining process:
CNC Milling, turning and lathing to complete PEEK parts based on different geometry shape and dimension. Like: Plate, bar raw materials.
3ERP offers custom PEEK machining and fabricating for industrial applications. PEEK is a difficult plastic to machine, requiring special handling to minimize internal stress and heat-related cracks during cnc machining.
